install problem

Ich habe gesucht und nichts gefunden...

Ich m?chte xt:commerce auf ein gentoo box zum laufen zu bringen.

Schrit 1:
https://myserver/shop/xtc_installer/

Checking:
FILE Permissions .............................. OK
FOLDER Permissions .............................. OK
PHP VERSION .............................. OK
GDlib VERSION .............................. 2.0 or higher
if GDlib Version < 2+ , klick here for further instructions
GDlib GIF-Support .............................. OK

Step 2
dann... Select German und Continue.

Step3
https://myserver/shop/xtc_installer/install_step1.php
Ich f?lle die DB settings aus ( habe im shell gechecked )

mysql -h localhost -u xtcommerce -p -D test_shop
Enter password:

"Webserver Informationen" die pfade sind OK
Klicke auf CONTINUE.

Jezt scheint es nich weiter zu gehen. Links im fenster sehe ich:
Sprache und tick /hekchen
DB Verbindung .... nichs

Dann Klick ich im Browser URL field und druck enter.

die URL wechselt von install_step2.php auf install_step4.php
Links im fenster sehe ich:
Sprache tick /hekchen
DB Verbindung tick /hekchen
DB import tick /hekchen
Webserver noch nichts

Ich f?lle alle pfade aus wie in install_step1.php
tick in Benutze SSL-Verbindungs
tick in Benutze Persistente Verbindung

Klick on CONTINUE

Jezt in install_step5.php
Sprache tick /hekchen
DB Verbindung tick /hekchen
DB import tick /hekchen
Webserver Einstellungen tick /hekchen
Schreiben der Konfigurationsdatei noch nichts

mitten im bild " Webserver Informationen:"
LEER?

Ich klick im Browser URL und enter

Dann folgender Error

Webserver Informationen:
Eine Testverbindung zur Datenbank war nicht erfolgreich.

Folgender Fehler wurde zur?ckgegeben:
No Server selected.

Bitte klicken Sie auf Back um Ihre Datenbankeinstellungen zu ?berpr?fen.

Wenn Sie Hilfe zu Ihrer Datenbank ben?tigen, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Provider.

Im system logs finde ich nur in /var/log/php.log

Ich habe die file und dir rechte wie in Installationsanleitung ges?tzt...

Sorry I did not find the problem, but is was something todo with my local gentoo apache mySQL setup. I uploaded the setup to my hoster, and there it worked.

In the meanwhile i (and mzeiner)figured out tha it has to do somting with database i have configured.
But I have new problem at step 7 it says Error 404

lol

looks like im going to stay also at step 7 for a day or two

I think it has to do something with last option at step 6 :
Set up zones for EU? Yes No
because Im from Slovenia and dont know if XTC knows that Slovenia is in EU.

I will try now without that option checked. But first i have to make new database because at step 7 BACK button isnt working anymore. Or is it? We will never know.
