Standard Will xtCommerce be compatible with an ASP website?

Hi everyone,

I am currently developing an eCommerce website for one of my clients based in Germany.

The xtCommerce software has been recommended to provide product purchasing functionality to the website.

I have a few questions with regards to the xtCommerce system to determine whether it will be compatable with my website

• Is there an installation guide available?
• I have currently developed the website in ASP. Is there an ASP based version of the xtCommerce software that I can use?
• If there is no ASP option available would I be able to keep the ASP site as it is but recreate the product pages and buying process with xtCommerce ? Would this type of integration be successful?
• I understand that the front end pages created using xtCommerce will be built according to a series of set templates. Are these templates quite flexible? I would like to keep the look of the product/ordering pages in keeping with the current site design as much as possible

Thank you for taking the time to read this, I look forward to your replies.

With Kind Regards

Neil

Thank you for your quick response mzanier.

Can you please let me know the other options I could consider for integration?

Also, currently on the products pages I have a jQuery window that opens via a link to display my size charts. Can I still use jQuery on xtCommerce pages?

For everyone who wants to move to xt:Commerce I reccomend you to try service cart2cart (just google it) It's totally automated and accurate. As far as I know, they are currently working on support of Veyton 4.0
