xtcommerce installation fails

Hi All

I am currently evaluating the xtcommerce as a shop option.

I have the following setup
os : Windows XP
Wamp install with typo3
Apache/2.0.63 (Win32)
PHP/5.2.6
MySql Server version: 4.1.22
phpMyAdmin - 2.11.9.3

Apache, PHP and MYSQL are all working.

But the MySql is set to work on port 8502

When I try to run the xtInstaller I get the following error.

Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)

I have tried setting localhost to localhost:8502

This then just seems to hang and I get the following in the PHP logs.

[30-Apr-2009 19:25:48] PHP Warning: mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Unknown MySQL server host '_SYSTEM_DATABASE_HOST' (11004) in C:\TYPO3\htdocs\veyton_4011\xtFramework\library\ad odb\drivers\adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 366

I have looked in the adodb-mysql.inc.php and cant see were it is getting the '_SYSTEM_DATABASE_HOST' or the 10061.

I have tried to do a find for port and 10061 in the xt:commerce files but no luck.

I would really like to get this working and test the integration/extension into typo3.

Any ideas how I can get this installed and working?

yes. config.php is writeable.
I have made sure all files are writable.

Also I have disabled all firewals antivirus etc.
I have tried with and without demo data.
The install script just does not work.
