Warning: date() [function.date]

Hallo,
ich komm nicht weiter. Ich habe den shop 4.0.13 zusätzlich lokal installiert und der läuft auch, noch nichts dran gemacht (Demoartikel).
Im Backend bekomme ich diese Fehlermeldung:

date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. Woran liegt es und wo kann ich was einstellen oder ändern?

schau mal in der php.ini nach dem Eintrag "date.timezone".

da steht dieses:

dem allseits gefundenen Hinweis auf Zeitzonen (php 5.3) bin ich gefolgt und habe in der php.ini von xampp

;date.timezone = "Europe/Berlin"

gesetzt. Die Meldung bleibt.
Im Web ist viel dazu zu lesen, vieles verstehe ich nicht oder weiss es nicht anzuwenden - bin halt noch Anfänger.

Weiss mir dennoch jemand zu helfen?

Ich habe das setup im xampp noch einmal durchlaufenn lassen. Diesmal wurde die timezone "Europe/Paris" korrekt initialisiert, zuvor offenbar nicht. Jetzt läuft auch das backend.
Vielleicht hilft's ja jemandem.
